There is a related issue, where swapping to a different baby on the same activity also stops the paused activity. For instance, when tandem feeding two babies:

    1. Start baby A feeding.
    2. Swap to baby B
    3. Start baby b feeding.
    4. Pause baby b because they have temporarily come off.
    5. Swap to baby A.
    6. Stop timer for baby A.
    7. Swap back to baby b.
    8. Attempt to resume baby B's timer, but it was already finished and logged.

So yes, it would make more sense to me if swapping didn't stop a timer. I could see an argument for stopping the first timed activity when a second TIMED activity has its timer started, but it sounds like currently even switching to it stops the first activity.

    Thanks for the detailed suggestions.

As we add more activity types to BabyTime, we are considering providing an ordered arrangement of activity icons instead of the ‘swap’ approach we take now. They’ll still ‘pop’ up though, but when they return they’ll go back to their previous position.

We may also look to have activity names show for the currently selected activity for reinforcement.

    Sounds great!

And thanks for all your work on this. It really stands out from all the other ugly or hard to use apps I've seen. Balancing priorities and features vs simplicity is hard, and so far you have done an outstanding job.

We now have a script we can run to produce a CSV export. We’d like feedback on whether the format is what you’re looking for. If you want to get an export of activities now, please send in a support request and we’ll send you an export.

This is our #2 feature request and we’re planning to implement exports as a self-service feature soon.

Please let us know if you’ve got any specific requires for your exports. Thanks for your support.
